Spark of an Idea

Growing up with my corgy Ruby instilled in me an indelible love for dogs. It was their loyalty and companionship that drove me to be able to give back, and I dreamt of creating something meaningful for dogs and their owners. Years later, armed with $500 and an idea, I launched Ruby Best Deals from my small apartment, determined to provide high-quality dog products at affordable prices.

Starting Small, Thinking Big

I had limited resources: I sourced the products and packed orders myself on my dining table. The post-Covid world was much harder—from disrupted supply chains to spending-cautious consumers. But my passion kept nudging me forward. Partly through small suppliers with whom I forged ties to supply the merchandise and engagement on social media platforms to speak with fellow dog lovers like myself, a loyal customer base gradually took the shape of an arc, binding me.

Building Trust and Growing Slowly

This product and company concept would be where quality precedes the actual bottom dollar cost. Well, it went from Ruby becoming the very first product tester; then everything being made reflected how a best service or product needn't break the wallet. Customers were treated and satisfied without gulling around the bush through an essence of transparency and respect given towards proper customer care; slowly building up Ruby Best Deals, it became at last. After some time of operating independently, word spread courtesy of clients feeling more at ease with my line, helping me grow and enlarge the then small, closely knit nucleus.

Overcoming Obstacles

It soon reached a point where being able to meet the demand, yet scale up and retain the quality, became an uphill battle. I did encounter several moments of self-questioning, yet always adhered to my mission for smooth operation and customer response. Each problem empowered me further with willpower to continue improving my business; soon, we introduced more items, expedited shipping options, and even created a "Give Back" initiative to dog shelters.

Nowadays, Ruby Best Deals helps thousand of customers and is a household name among the pet community in my country. Ruby Best Deals has recently taken steps toward providing international shipping and utilizing more environmentally friendly suppliers. From this, I see grounds for a vision that this company can expand globally by becoming more sustainable. Giving back and sustainability remain key focuses that will ensure our company impacts dogs and their owners worldwide.
